Babies, Tots n’ More is Chicago’s first and only seasonal consignment event company. Our business benefits Chicagoland families in a variety of ways. We offer parents an opportunity to earn money by selling their gently used children’s and maternity items, while allowing other families to buy great products for a fraction of the original price. Additionally, many of the unsold items are donated to local charities, offering assistance to families in need throughout the city, and providing consignors with a tax deduction for their items.
Chicagoland families love us! Founded in April 2010 , we have grown to having over 15,000+ items at our fourth sale in October 2011. Hundreds of families visit our events to stock their children’s closets and shelves with incredible finds.
We strive to continue to meet the needs of our community and are pleased to announce that beginning in 2012 we will expand to hold events more frequently than twice a year. Stay tuned for more details!

After having my second son in 2009, I started to become claustrophobic in my own home. Everywhere I turned there were toys, clothes, bouncy seats, boppies, baby equipment and even a bike trailer that I wouldn’t be able to use for at least a year.
Many of the items had been given to me by friends (close and distant), who could no longer use them. I knew that there had to be a better way for families to “recycle” the items that they had purchased, often at a steep price, and be able to recoup some of their expenses. It was at that moment that Babies, Tots n’ More was born.
With four sales under my belt, I can say that it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I love what I do! I always tell people that it is a “feel good” business, everyone benefits! Consignors are thrilled to make money on their items, and shoppers are delighted to get like new (or new) items for a fraction of the retail price. Families in need receive many of our unsold items, which are in like new condition.
I am a work-from-home mom and enjoy spending time with my two toddler aged boys. My husband is a Chicago Firefighter, and it is great having our very own “in home” hero. I am a Chicago native and received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I love this city and am pleased to offer such a wonderful opportunity to the families here.
